Photo of Staph bacteria
Photography by NY-based art director, Craig Ward. I prettied them up with empty space.

Staphylococcus aureus

Also known as the pathogen that can cause staph infections and food poisoning. Oh joy!

Subway Lines: to Times Square.

E. coli bacteria slide photography

E. coli

Ah yes the bacteria found in feces,  e. fucking coli. Symptoms of this infection include: abdominal cramps, fatigue, vomiting, diarrhea, bloody diarrhea, kidney failure and in some cases, death. Though not without looking like a party in your mouth hnnn.

Subway Lines:   Nothing nice can be said about the Train.

Salmonella bacteria photo

Salmonella

As pretty as a painting. Also a leading cause of the oh-shit! disease from the consumption of contaminated food.

Subway Lines: to Times Square.

And you can read more about our charming subways from NY Mag. Wear gloves and wash your hands booboos!
